For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for well-being, and not for calamity, in order to give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 29:11
Our son was recently in an accident on the way to a Bible study weekend with two friends. Not only did all three of them walk away with minimal emergency care and concerns, they were able to attend the weekend as planned with loving support and overwhelming thanksgiving.
While the van’s light will never shine again (the banner photo used is the real thing!), our Lord’s radiance is reflected from the light burning brightly in the lives saved and for our spiritual/natural family.
Never doubt the plan and place we have in our Father’s divine purpose for each of us, which often surpasses our own understanding and personal limitations. Our hope and a blessed future rests firmly in Him—especially when we find ourselves smack in the middle of calamity and darkness. He is ever with us, watching over us, and protecting us from permanent harm.
True thanks be to His unending love and mercy as His precious children and heirs according to promise.
So often in life we need to look for the hand of God and be grateful, counting our blessings.
