Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Hebrews 11:1 (NIV)
When I think about this verse, it’s telling me I need to have faith, not because I have seen something, but because I believe in something. Now I was recently thinking, how do I first find faith? And how do I decide where to put my faith?
We decide this by discovering things we can truly believe in and hope for. And we can find this by searching the Bible for verses that inspire us and strengthen our hope for the soon return of Jesus.
Building faith in God, believing him without seeing him actually among us. We have to continue to believe in him until the time comes when our hope is fulfilled. Until then, faith is our confidence and our assurance.

The message of the gospel that God loves us and wants to transform us and will transform us if we but ask through His son is a clearly articulated.
It is self evident that we can’t save ourselves and the only way salvation could therefore be possible is through grace. That this is indeed the message is a strong support of faith.
What a wonderful message of faith on your 14th birthday. We love you, David. Nana and Papa
