“For though the righteous fall seven times, they rise again, but the wicked stumble when calamity strikes.”Proverbs 24:16
There is a Japanese proverb that is similar to this passage: Nana korobi, ya oki. It means, “Fall down seven times, get up eight.” God does not promise that we will be spared the challenges of life. We may experience hard things—repeatedly. But when we fall, God assures us that He will help us up.
In the end, we will be standing through His grace.
